Wasit University Honors Students with Disabilities by Providing Lecture Recording Devices

The President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, honored a number of students with disabilities by awarding them lecture recording devices, in recognition of their academic excellence, determination to succeed, and ability to overcome challenges.

This took place during a meeting with the students, attended by the deputy President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sabeeh Lafta Al-Zubaidi, the deputy president for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Shahab Ahmed, the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, Dr. Shafaa Ghani Radi, and Asst. Lect. Moayad Mohsen Al-Aiydi.

The University President stated that Wasit University gives special attention to students with disabilities and is committed to providing a supportive and motivating academic environment that ensures equal opportunities and enables them to demonstrate their scientific and human potential. He emphasized that the achievements of these students are a source of pride for the entire university community.

Prof. Dr. Al-Aqabi also praised the students’ strong determination and commended the role of their families and teaching staff in supporting their educational journey.
